Job Title: Graduate Business Development Executives
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
- Maintain existing customers
- Market Geoscape within our chosen industry, in the service areas assigned (any combination of Procurement, Engineering Support Services, Logistics, Technical Services and Safety Services)
- Market Geoscape to desired strategic Technical Partners for term contracts and call-off contract business
- Business prospecting and development
- Management of assigned accounts, brands and projects
- Enforce proper documentation from origination to completion of projects
- Client visits, interaction and liaison
- Reporting of work activities:
- Weekly reports per agreed structure
- Quarterly reports to Management Team
- Quarterly reports to Technical Partners per agreed structure
- Call Memos reporting minutes of meetings and ensuing action points
- Archiving and Document Management (in liaison with the Contracts and Documentation Advisor)
- Awareness of Finance and Tax Management as concerns contracts (in liaison with Finance Department)
- Regulatory Compliance and Legal Consultations as may be required
- Backup function for Contracts and Documentation Advisor's Portfolio
- Preparation and Rendering of Marketing Presentations
- Business Proposal Writing and Follow up
- Participation in Contract Negotiations
- Purchase Order Troubleshooting and follow-ups, upon Procurement Department's request
- Corporate Gifting
- Customer Database Management
- Customer engagement for feedback management
- Management of Business Development Expenses
- Industry Research, Other Business Feasibility Analysis and Current Affairs
- Gathering of Market Intelligence and Knowledge Sharing
- NIPEX and NAPIMS Business Monitoring
- Bid Packaging and Documentation
- Regional Business Oversight
- Corporate and Departmental Team Building Activities
- Liaison with Geoscape Executive Committee as may be required
- Strategy and Liaison with Management Team
- Geoscape Corporate Culture Management
- Contracts and Assets Department's Club Cognito Management
Requirements
- HND/BSC in Social Sciences ( a Lawyer or Engineer can also apply)
- 1-3 years experience as a Business Development Officer in Oil and Gas industry
- Good business writing skill
- Good presentation skill
- Good communication and people skill
- Must have commercial inclination. Must be able to sell our products to clients
