Job Description
Amongst other duties, the Energy and Fluids Manager will:
  • Manage Occupational Health, Safety, Risk And Environment
  • Apply Advanced/Specialist Knowledge Of The Utilities Plant And Process In The Departments
  • Lead, Implement and Optimise Asset Management System In Utilities
  • Manage Utilities Engineering Department by Providing Effective Leadership In Terms of Engineering Matters and Managing of Utilities Engineering’s Support to the Operational Teams
  • Execute Engineering Projects In Utilities Through Management of All Engineering Projects Implementation In Utilities; Measuring and Tracking of Performance Improvements Associated With Such projects Against Targets
  • Manage Utilities Department by Providing Effective Leadership In Terms Of Utilities Matters, Managing The Performance of Team Members And Managing Productivity In Utilities
  • Optimise Plant To Control Raw Material Usage And Manage The Optimisation Of Total Usage Of Energy And Water For The Department.
  • Manage Financial Performance
  • Manage Human Resources by developing employees; ensuring a healthy industrial climate; managing and applying people processes, managing own performance and that of direct reports etc
Qualifications and Experience
The occupant of this position should possess:
  • Bachelor’s degree/HND in Mechanical / Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Registered Engineering certificate will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 4 - 5 years’ cognate experience in a brewery or  FMCG environment
  • Good knowledge of Modern Asset care Principles.
