Job Description
Amongst other duties, the Maintenance Manager will:

• Manage Occupational Health, Safety, Risk And Environment
• Apply Strategic Knowledge Of The Engineering Plant And Process On The Site
• Lead And Manage Asset Management And Engineering For The Entire Site
• Assume The Lead For Asset Management Integrity To Achieve Reliable Plant And Support The Manufacturing Way/VPO
• Assume The Lead For Site Capacity Plan, Engineering And Capex Projects
• Assume The Legal Responsibility For A Safe, Healthy, Risk Free And Environmentally Compliant Site
• Manage Financial Performance
• Manage Human Resources by developing employees; ensuring a healthy industrial climate; managing and applying people processes, managing own performance and that of direct reports etc.
• Communicate effectively in the workplace

Qualifications and Experience
The occupant of this position should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Must be a registered or Qualified Engineer
• Minimum of 4 - 5 years’ experience as a Packaging or Brewing & Utilities Engineer or related experience in a FMCG environment
• Good knowledge of Modern Asset care Principles.

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (eg. COSWIN)
• Good communicator, with effective team-related skills

• Deep understanding of maintenance practices
